| Introduction | A friend of mine wrote a book a few years ago, all about the musicians and the scene around the old Bla-Bla Cafe in Los Angeles. In that book, I was (inaccurately) described as a "fretless bassist." When my wife heard that, she said, "She must have meant FRETFUL bassist." Hence the title of this blog. |
