Introduction | I am a Christian, a wife, and a home-educating SAHM to three very enthusiastic boys. Trying to focus their energy, attention, and exuberance is like herding grasshoppers. I have a dream, from Isaiah… “My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.” But the reality is more like “Zena, Queen of the Testosterzone!” We have a lot more "odd" than "awed" in our lives. Welcome to our corner of friendly chaos. |
Interests | Bringing order from chaos, managing my family, learning with my boys, homeschooling, reading, watching my boys play soccer, scrapbooking, learning to quilt, and dreaming about relaxing on tropical beaches, Bible Study |
Favorite Movies | Mr. Holland's Opus, The Sound of Music, The Inn of the Sixth Happiness, and, Lord of the Rings, LOTR Trilogy |
Favorite Music | Handel's Messiah, Diane Schuur, Jimmy Buffet, Christmas carols |
Favorite Books | Always, Bible, (NIV), lately, "Family Driven Faith", Voddie Baucham, the Chronicles of Narnia |
Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
Puh-lease! If evolution actually worked, mothers would have six arms, sharper senses and quicker reflexes than a small animal of prey... and they would be fully, cheerfully functional on about two hours of sleep!
