| Introduction | Books have sustained me from childhood. I am an unregenerate bibliophile. I also love art: making it and looking at it. I used to paint and draw and write all the time; these days I am a high school English teacher. I love the act of teaching; much of the paraphernalia that goes along with education I do not like. I hate grades and would like to see them abolished. |
