| Introduction | I am a 30-something gal living a blessed life in the Midwest. The hubs (Chris) and I are passionate about life and love and living for the Lord. After a 6 year battle with PCOS and infertility, I finally landed my dream job as a stay at home mom to my daughter, Brianna (born February 18, 2010) and my son, Brenson (born February 10, 2012). Although we've been trying for another baby for a while, all it has resulted in is two miscarriages so far (Jan 2013 and July 2013). This new road of miscarriage and baby loss has taught us many valuable lessons, and we're trying to see the blessings in the journey. In my pre-baby life, I had a career in higher education, reserved plenty of time for my favorite creative outlet (scrapbooking), and never had to purchase a book from the library because it was covered in spit-up. Things have certainly changed, but I am loving this new season as I learn what being a mom is all about. I am living my life with purpose and striving to be the woman God wants me to be. This is the story of my life. |
