Introduction | Who am I? I'm just a gal who likes to read the directions on a soup can; who is on her second maternity leave; who recently relocated from a big city to a town beginning with “Fort”; and who isn't dealing well with being over 30 and technically unemployed. She's also a rookie cook struggling to make simple, fun, tasty meals for her family. Meal times in my house are often chaotic, last minute and...dull. I find many recipes that claim to be "simple" or "one-step" are often anything but. If you're like me, you're always looking for quick, simple, fun and nutritious meal ideas. I won’t be deboning a duck anytime soon (or ever), but the idea is to keep it simple and learn as we go. I have a lot of fun cooking with my three year old, so I try to feature recipes that encourage cooking with your kids. I look forward to hearing ideas and learning kitchen tips and tricks! Lucy |
