Introduction I am the founder and editor of Political Policy. I am a traditional conservative, and my chief inspirations on political thought are Edmund Burke, Russell Kirk and William F. Buckley, Jr. Russell Kirk is widely regarded as the principal intellectual founder of the American conservative movement. To quote Kirk, “The attitude we call conservatism is sustained by a body of sentiments, rather than by a system of ideological dogmata.” I'm a former CPA with over twenty years of consulting and industry experience in the financial area. I have a B.S. and M.S. in Business Administration, and a M.A. in History with a concentration in American History.
Interests political science and philosophies, golf, film, exercising, Phillies, Yankees, St. Louis Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, Notre Dame football and University of Kentucky basketball.
Favorite Movies The Godfather 1 and 2 (the classics classic), North by Northwest (A. Hitchcock at his best), Bullitt (just plain cool), Cool Hand Luke ("What we've got here is a failure to communicate"), It's A Wonderful Life (best Thanksgiving/Christmas movie), Midway (a brilliant lesson in strategy), Caddyshack ("you'll have nothing and like it"), Hoosiers (best sports film), Three Days of the Condor (don't mess with the CIA) and anything with Mel Brooks
