Introduction	My name is Cheryl and I grew up in Martinsville, VA. I am a self taught artist with a little help of classes in high school and watching PBS art shows with Helen Van Wyk, Brenda Harris, William Alexander, Bob Ross, Frank Clarke. I have finally found a time in my life where I can devote it to my artwork. I like to paint landscapes, portraits, animals. I have not been in any art shows and have given away a lot of paintings to friends and family. I did some commission work for Fairy Stone State Park, drawings of the cabins there and have sold some paintings. If you would like to purchase any of these please contact me by e-mail.
Interests	I like to paint with watercolors, oil, acrylics, draw with colored and graphite pencils. I also to like to do yard work, play with my cats, listen to my companion play his bass, horseback riding, walking, looking at nature, family, playing scrabble on pogo, card games, enjoy looking at dailypainters.
