Introduction	i used to be a lot of things: younger, single, childless, thinner, self-centered (ah the teenage years!), dramatic, slow to trust, highly suspect of love, and on and on. but now i've found love and i trust it; i'm attached to someone and i like it; i've grown two humans and my body is different; i care for a family and it's no longer all about me; i crave simplicity over drama; and i trust first, ask questions later. i'm finding that getting older is a daily experiment in redefining myself- adding and subtracting from my former self; trying to change the things i don't like and highlighting the things that i do; filling new roles; growing out of old habits; uncovering who i am, who i want to be, and how i'm going to get there- until hopefully, someday i am the best definition of me.
