Introduction	Wife, mother, daughter, friend. Reader, writer, singer, cook. Sensitive, creative, dramatic. Christian, conservative. Midwestern-transplant to South, and back again. I've been married to Jim since October 2005. We lost our first baby in February 2007. After a high-risk, bed-rest pregnancy, I delivered our IUGR preemie, Seth, via emergerncy C-section in December 2007. We lost twins at 9 weeks in October 2008. Our second son, Duncan, was born into our family May 2009, and went directly into the joy of heaven. Like beauty from ashes, our darling preemie Erin arrived in early May 2010. Our final addition, James, arrived in May 2012. I'm a writer by degree and at heart. However, after 5 years in corporate America as an insurance agent, I now stay at home with Seth and Erin. The only other things that you probably need to know is that I'm a Christ-follower, a Daddy's girl, a die-hard romantic, and a type-A perfectionist with a bent towards the dramatic.
