| Introduction | I am a "Fabric Engineer," making mostly wearables. I also make jewelry, ornaments, toys, etc. etc. On May 12, 2017 I retired from my job at Rice University in the anthropology department. I moved to Portland, Oregon so I could watch my 2 grandchildren grow up. My super power is stopping buses with my butt. Ten days after my retirement party I was hit from behind by a bus while walking Sweetsie. The impact shattered my right hip. I'm lucky to have survived. I'm working hard to get back to a normal lifestyle. |
