Introduction	I guess I found my way to being a Notre Dame fan a little differently than probably most people. I don't have any family members that were Alumni or pro-ND in any way and I didn't grow up Catholic. My love for ND grew on my own. I was 12 years old in 1988 and that was my first time I became hooked on all things Notre Dame. That, of course, was the year they won their last National Championship and I remember watching ND and being total mesmerized by how they looked, their size, and the athletes they had on the field. It seemed as though every player on the field for ND was bigger, faster, and stronger than the opponents. They had a star power that I had never witnessed at my young age. I quickly became a die-hard fan and my love for Notre Dame has only grown every year since then. I literally could not get enough of Notre Dame football and of course following Notre Dame recruiting soon followed. So here I am 20+ years later.
