Introduction I have now reached my 30th year, so my 20’s have now flown away from me, never to return. Still I continue to look for what I find most important in life: balance. I have become more accustomed to the various idiosyncrasies and contractions that pervade my life and emotions. I’m not sure that the goal of life is to eliminate contradictions, but maybe it’s more to minimize the untenable contradictions that detract from the quality of our lives. While intelligence, wisdom and temperance are important qualities, their capacity to illuminate some of the more shadowy aspects of the soul are rife with inadequacy. Balancing the alluring but unnecessary traits and aspects of our lives that stir the primitive and carnal desires is as always a challenge. What I’ve found is that this fantastical blog-world is an excellent way to engage my own thoughts, opinions and feelings. The experience has been enlightening. So please, be my guest to share any thoughts, opinions or feelings. It’s always nice to know that others share the seriousness, and sometimes the absurdity, of the human experience.
