Introduction My interest in good health came from my Father's influence. I remember watching my Dad jump rope when I was about 8 years old. I was astonished. He was fast! He jumped with rhythm, more like a dance with rhythm. He'd picked up his skill while boxing in the Navy. He spent a life time getting his exercise, staying in shape, and watching what he ate. He was rewarded with a long, healthy life right up until his final years. I have followed his example. I've spent a life time emulating him, no smoking, no drinking, no drugs, no sunbathing, and watching what I eat. I have had some form of exercise all my life. I have been rewarded for my behavior. My advice on this blog is not only how to cook quick meals, but just as importantly, how to make them healthy and useful to your body.
