Introduction	I'm an Akron native who grew up amidst the industrial collapse and decline of a city and region that together once stood tall as an economic powerhouse, serving to build and shape the US and the modern world as we know it. This story fascinates me as it is the story of my life and the lives of all who are in some way deeply bound or drawn to the former Industrial Belt region of the US, better known in recent decades as the Rust Belt. I believe a new narrative is emerging, however, as a new generation takes stock in our maligned and downtrodden old industrial cities, granting them and the region as a whole a Second Act. My contributions are my own way of helping to share this story while contributing to the renaissance now underway.
