Introduction | Mum of 2 gorgeous girls, wife of 1 gorgeous husband, carer and cuddler of 2 skinny dogs. Quilts are my thing; I like to potter with my fabrics, cutting up and putting back together in all sorts of interesting ways.... I love to recycle old stuff off the street (its not stealing if nobody wants it!)and I am happy when my boxing gloves give a really good 'whack' sound! Please do say Hi! |
Interests | Quilts, fabric, children's literature, horse-riding, ballet, chocolate brownies, all forms of ice-cream |
Favorite Movies | Jane Eyre (any BBC version), Young Victoria, 50 First Dates, Perfect Catch, Love Actually, Bridget Jones' Diary, Shrek, basically anything that makes me laugh out loud, and/or makes me feel warm and fuzzy! Love those fuzzies! |
Favorite Music | Constantly changes! Not very loyal to music, except for ballet classics like Swan Lake, Romeo & Juliet. A bit partial to The Audreys at the moment! Sometimes a bit of Aussie Classic Rock does me some good. Cold Chisels, Midnight Oil, INXS! |
Favorite Books | Many kids' books: eg. Babette Cole-irreverent, Lauren Child- quirky, Bob Graham-gentle and succinct, Margaret Wild/Ron Brooks-'Fox'-dramatic, edge of your seat picture book, Shaun Tan - brilliant unique thought provoking, M T Anderson-'Feed' -facinating futuristic look at the world's 'attack' on teenagers, Catherine Jinks - 'Pagan' series - punchy dialogues. Have you worked out that I don't read much other than kid lit? Now read Outlander series by Diana Galbaldon - OMG so good! |

Yes, how DO we know when we've grown up?
