Introduction I'm an electronic engineer at Northrop Grumman working on software and digital circuit design for advanced inertial guidance/navigation instruments which are used extensively in aircraft, spacecraft, missiles, and precision munitions. My B.S. degree is from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1970, and my M.S. degree is from the University of Southern California in 1972. I've had five patents issued (numbers 4241414, 4325056, 4331951, 6130755, and 6317215). In 1999 I co-founded a telecommunications company (Zerocall.com) whose goal was to offer advertiser-sponsored free long-distance telephone service. The company was ultimately unsuccessful in obtaining the necessary venture capital funding when the dot-com bubble collapsed and the overbuilt telecom industry tumbled. I've been active in the Libertarian Party since 1972 and was chairman of the California state party in 1979-80 during the time the LP successfully registered over 80,000 voters to achieve permanent ballot status. My wife Sandi Webb was elected to the Simi Valley City Council in 1990 and served there for 8 years. She was an outspoken and controversial advocate for the right to keep and bear arms.
