| Introduction | I like to eat everything and am trying to write more about everything I eat. I dine out all the time but always have enough food in my refrigerator to have a dinner party for six. I love restaurants and grocery shopping equally. I work as a food writer and editor, a career I am thrilled with after stints in the music industry and the dotcom world. If you Google me, I am not the journalist working for a suburban NY newspaper, even though my family's business was a chain of local newspapers in Chicago. Nor am I the "Jane Lerner" who reclaimed her grandfather's paintings that were stolen in WWII, even though I recently inherited my parents' amazing modern art collection.
