This blog is about my life, and here you'll find recent photo-shoots, crafty projects, style posts, photography tips, and a lot of rambling about my family and faith. My motto is: "Life is messy. Life is beautiful." And as a visual storyteller, my goal is to capture the sometimes messy (but always beautiful!) moments in life - for my own family and my clients. I'm passionate about working with families and though I'm based in the Sunshine State, I sometimes travel to clients for photo shoots. I love Jesus Christ and strive to live my life in a way that honors him. I mess up pretty much everyday... BUT GRACE! My husband, Anderson, and I live at the beach with the cutest little boy. His name is Kingston Rock - and he's feisty, hilarious, and payback for everything I did wrong as a child. I don't sugarcoat our life, because I believe that God is at work in the messy parts, and if we let him, he can make them beautiful! Thrift stores are my favorite places to shop, and most of my "down time" is spent making crafty DIY projects and decorating (and redecorating!) our home. I'm almost always wearing a hat! Shortly after starting my photography business eight years ago, I began blogging. And while this space started as a place to showcase my latest photo work, over the years it has become so much more! |
