| Introduction | My husband and I live in Texas with our five children, ages 8, 11, 14, 15, and 17. I was a children's and young adult librarian, but decided to stay home when my oldest was three. I have one son who went to school (8th grade in 2023) for about three months (his decision) and then decided I was right. It's a waste of time. Otherwise, we don't do school. Their interests include dance, art, baking, reading, baseball, football, Taekwondo, Fortnite, Roblox, theatergoing, and more. I enjoy reading, learning, thinking, writing, cooking, homemaking, gardening, Pinterest, staying home, raising my kids, camping, journaling, making memories, mountains, rivers, streams, coffee, health and fitness, hiking, resting, wildlife, outdoors, self-care, and the Earth. |
