Introduction	Hi you have landed yourself at my blog, Mechelle Hyatt. I am a stay at home mom to three great kids, a wife to one great husband, I am a junk store fan and I love to sew. I didn't learn to sew at my grandmas knees! My husband bought me a sewing machine for my b-day one year. It sat in my closet for almost 3 years before I had the time & nerve to drag it out. It took me a long time to just figure out how to thread the needle, and when the bobbin ran out I simply put the sewing machine away for a few months until my neighbor showed me how to fix that problem..I had no idea they made some already done for you :) So after that I taught myself to sew through a lot of trial and errors and tears! I found that one can not have too many seam rippers!!! You can find my handsewn item here on my blog at the top of the page, and also my crafty re-makes of things discarded.
