Occupation U.S. Navy Chaplain
Location Okinawa-shi, Okinawa, Japan
Introduction I am an Episcopal (Convergence) priest (Christian Communion International) and happily married to the beautiful and wonderful Becky for 23 yrs; two wonderful children: Taylor-19 and Samantha-8. I am an alumnus of the Univ. of Mary Hardin-Baylor (B.GS.), Criswell College (M.A.), SWBTS (M.Div.) and Liberty Theological Seminary where I've completed the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.). I know what your asking, "Why does an Episcopalian attend Southern Baptist schools?" The reason is this: I am the founder of my own schismatic sect known as Baptiscopalianism :) No, seriously, a long story that is summed up in this: our faith is a journey... I was a RUF/NEK at OU many moons ago and bleed Sooner Crimson :) In January 2008 I was assigned to the 2/7 Marines, 1MARDIV (FMF) at Twentynine Palms, CA. I spent 8 months with TF 2/7 in Southern Afghanistan. Heavy combat will change a man and all he thinks he believes. One of my favorite quotes is from the movie, The Patriot, “A shepherd must tend his flock and, at times, fight off the wolves.” I currently serve as the Deputy Command Chaplain for the U.S. Naval Hospital, Okinawa, Japan.

If you were a pirate, how would you avoid laughing when saying 'poop deck'?

Being a Naval Officer I happen to know the proper term is "potty-deck."
