| Introduction | A self confessed addictive personality, I did my first yoga class two years ago at an adult ed college. I got hooked pretty quick and have been lucky enough to find a similarly afflicted group of individuals who all meet up on Thursday evenings to feed each others' addictions! It is this very group of people who christened me BendyGirl due to freaky hyperextendable joints. This is actually a double edged sword, but quite heavily weighted at the positive end because it serves as an excellent, if not slightly contortionist party trick :) Yoga for me is about exploration, and I hope that this space will serve not only as a place to log my musings, but a cool hangout for anyone else who's interested and wants to add or contribute in some way. If you've ever been curious about what someone else does in their personal practice, want insight into a different system of Yoga or even if you'd like a yoga buddy to bounce some ideas of of and help enrich your own practice, you've come to the right place. |
