About me

Gender Female
Industry Science
Occupation PhD Student/Biomedical Laboratory Slave
Location Washington, D.C., United States
Introduction I used to enjoy lots of activities, like horseback riding, fencing, lacrosse, religiously following the Steelers (I still try), playing french horn, studying political science, reading, etc. Now, as an oncology PhD student, all I do is go to class, slave away in the lab (to do list: cure cancer), or sit in the library and study. And from time to time, that leaves me feeling pretty disgruntled.
Interests pipetting, accidentally breaking expensive laboratory equipment, screwing up experiments, playing with ethidium bromide and fun chemicals, reading scientific papers that I don't really understand, unsuccessfully attempting to have a life outside the lab, skiing, SCUBA diving, trying to golf, Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Washington Nationals, College Basketball
