Introduction I write therefore I am....Has a nice ring to it. Let's see. I'm a pretty private person. As Georgette Heyer once told someone, if you want to know about me, read my books. So, what am I doing blogging?
Interests Writing of course, gardening when I used to have time, walking, biking, watching romantic comedies and trading lines from them with my daughter. I swear, we can hardly have a conversation anymore without reverting to lines from movies. Can you id any of these: "Are you trying to fly this thing without me?" "I don't want to get burried under a little piece of tape." "I don't hate debutantes, THEY'RE DEBUTANTES!!!" "I'm not a hatemonger. I'm a hate stylist!" "I shall conquer this. I shall!" "I should have checked the milligrams. Live and learn." "There is something wrong with this yoghurt." "...have bottom the size of Brazil."
Favorite Movies My favorite movies would have to be... Picnic, Casa Blanca, A&E's Pride and Prejudice, You've Got Mail, Winslow Boy, Proof of Life and Punch Line.... oh! and I can't forget Notting Hill and then there's Pretty in Pink for its quirky heroine. I love BBC period pieces. The last one I watched was Bleak House.
Favorite Music Matt Redman, Bebo Norman, Tim Hughes. Currently I'm listening to Mark Harris's (of 4Him) 1st solo CD: The Line Between the Two. Wonderful!
Favorite Books Persuasion, Pride & Prejudice, Guardian King Series, Arena, anything by Georgette Heyer, ditto George MacDonald. Have rediscovered Grace Livingston Hill from my high school days. Vanessa del Fabbro's first book, The Road to Home was excellent! Have to check out her others.
