| Introduction | I'm a Christian who is a Connecticut Yankee in Texas.(Kind of like George Bush) I'm married to an awesome woman (though I don't know if she identifies with the title 'woman' yet). I have two great kids who are consistantly teaching me humility and patience. I'm also a reformed liberal. :) I served in the Army for 8 years and my swing to conservatism began with my experiences in Iraq and seeing firsthand what Chamberlain style appeasment can do to another nation. Then I became a Christian, which brought me more towards conservatism. Finally, I began listening to conservative ideas and realized that they made more sense than the liberal ideas. I listened to both sides, but agreed with the conservative side more, thus; 'My transition to the Dark Side was complete!' As my former liberal self would have said. I love sports, Giants, Mets, Knicks (though they have left a bitter taste in my mouth for many years now), and the Rangers. I also love the UCONN Huskies, and since I live in the Austin area, gotta love the LONGHORNS, hook em'! I'm in school and I work and I'm involved with my church and family and frankly, I'll have to give up sleep to monitor this blog. |
