Introduction | Hi!...welcome to the site of an all-over-the-place, cardio-loving graduate student at USF. In the Nursing Master's Program, and en route to becoming at Nurse Practitioner! Currently I INTERN (in the Maternity Ward DAY and NIGHT!), coach Varsity girls High School Swimming, and my town's local Rec Team. I also work at WF's as a nutritional consultant. The following description is what I wrote 2-years ago, when I started this blog..(i miss those times!) =...I am a full-time student athlete about to begin my SeNiOr year at the University of Washington! I have spent the last 14-years of my life competitively swimming...The huge commitment of waking up at 4am three mornings a week to swim for 2 hours before school and then practicing another 4 after class is the only way of life ive known. I am about to enter my final year of swimming. (It's scarey but also exciting) I have swam the past three years at UW while studying to become a family nurse practitioner. I am trying to juggle the challenge of being in the highest level(The Pac10s!) of sport and academics..This blog is a resource for me to learn new ways to fuel and motivate my desire to swim faster....go Huskies!! |
Interests | swimming, eating, baking, my 3 dogs, sunshine, weekends, napping, music, life! |
Which is more important to you and why: flexibility or expandability?
ummm expandability... i can't seem to become very flexible, and sadly might never be able to do the splits..no matter how many yoga classes ive been to, or hours ive spent stretching.
