Hm. I think I would go back to his lair to try and find any items that could link him to his mother. If I found any I'd rent a semi and haul his corpse to her lair where I'd hopefully upset her to the point that she won't realize that she's playing to my advantage by breathing fire at my marshmallows on sticks.
