| Introduction | I must first divert your attention to my userpic; it is my cat Cathulhu sitting behind the plushie Cthulhu to create a charming effect. His ears were not 'shopped to create this image. In fact, no ears were harmed and no cat deprived of dinner. He just likes roosting atop the monitor, the sweet kitty. OK, OK! I'll tell you something about myself then. Yeesh. You talked me into it. It says 'about me' after all. *sigh* I'm a 42 year old mother of a 13 year old and a wife of an awesome mechanic. I once painted the occasional pastel of cute widdle dogs and cats but as I've gotten older, the 'cartoon' side of me has begged expression. I guess it was repressed? There must be a part of me that quietly rebels against oncoming old age, so before I head into painting still lifes and more cute animals and other 'old lady' tastes, that rebellious side is seizing me by the short hairs and showing me it's not to late to reform. And that's me in a nutshell. Happy? |
