Introduction Sunny Nash, an Honours Graduate of Media Law, London School of Journalism, is a leading author on U.S. race relations; contributing author to the African American National Biography, Harvard & Oxford Universities; former newspaper and broadcast social commentator and columnist; author of the award-winning book, Bigmama Didn't Shop At Woolworth's; and currently, an independent executive editorial project manager of a portfolio of literary and digital media assets. As a journalist, Nash established energy efficiency practices while working in off-grid locations, and developed affordable alternatives to charge portable equipment for writing and editing, broadcast transmission, photography, lighting and sound, music mixing, audio and video production, digital preservation, and historical archiving. As a journalism instructor, Nash will share her training, experience and methods with students, instructors and those interested in renewable energy to power their projects.
