| Introduction | Things that I've already revealed: I just turned 32, I'm married to a writer, we just adopted a dog who we love and are extremely attached to, I'm trying to be a writer myself, I'm asian, I have four-eyes, at least when I'm wearing glasses, otherwise I have two eyes and I'm blind. I draw, or I sometimes draw. Twenty years ago when asked what I wanted to be when I got older, I used to respond, "writer or artist." Even though so much has happened since then, essentially, that hasn't changed. Of course, it's taken twenty years of path-winding, side stops, detours, backtracking, and wrong directions to realize this. So I'm essentially starting to pick up where I left off after I was asked that question. Just with a twenty-year hiccup in between. |
