| Introduction | I was trained as a specialist in biotechnology and accounting. I now style myself as a biological accountant, with a student loan balance that would buy some lucky banker a new Hummer. Along the way I discovered that many of the themes in accounting are found in biological systems. With that realization, I believe that today's world society is inherently unstable and that enormous amounts of energy (physical, mental, and spiritual) is wasted in its sustenance. |
