Introduction	Cathy Dorris: Cathy Dorris Studios is a working studio/gallery in Southern Oregon. she hosts gallery shows, art events, and offers a wide variety of mixed media art workshops, geared to both beginning and professional artists. Cathy is a nationally recognized art teacher and mixed media artist with a passion for helping people rediscover their, "Inner Artist." Cathy teaches classes in painting, mixed media, assemblage, fiber arts, sculpture, jewelry, and Sumi-e (Asian style ind painting). Her styles include everything from contemporary to world art. The Brushed Cork: Cathy also works with two other business women in a company called The Brushed Cork. They bring Art and Wine together hosting extremely fun and playful art classes at different wineries and restaurants. Individuals, groups of friends, and families come together to rediscover THEIR " Inner Artist," while enjoying their favorite wine. The classes are designed for EVERYONE, from the frightened and skeptical who say they can barely draw stick men, to the bold, fearless, and surefooted paint flingers!
