Introduction I started this blog to chronicle my family's journey to transform our chaotic urban life into a simpler, more fulfilling one that brings us closer to the country lifestyle. Well, as close as one can get living in the midst of a city. One of these days I may see my dream come true and relocate to a rural area where I can really work toward true homesteading. Until then I will garden, raise chickens, and otherwise be as self-sufficient as possible on my little slice of urban homestead.

China sounds like a good place to begin- Shortest distance between two points. See I did learn something in school!!
