Introduction	Hi! My name is Laura. I'm still in the process of reconciling new motherhood with all my interests. I used to make many of our kitchen staples from scratch and we ate largely from our garden that I enjoyed preserving every summer. Now my family is in a new house, in a new city, and we're starting everything from scratch. I'm learning how to balance a handmade life with raising my little and trying to have some intelligent thoughts in between.
Interests	All things food - growing it, preserving it, preparing it, eating it. Also food anthropology, food equality, environmentallly and socially responsible farming. Clean farming and clean eating. Preserving and exploring the wild places of the world. A handmade home. Thrifting, crocheting, sewing, upcycling, and creating. Eastern medicine, the study of herbs, making homemade medicines. Long walks in the woods and ravines of Columbus. Backyard chickens.Taoism.
