| Introduction | Erika Jane grew up in Western Michigan amidst abundant lakes, trees, rivers, and birds, extensively bicycling and sleepwalking throughout the region. She went on to live in Seattle and Chicago for several years, but it was the winters that drew her back to the mitten state. She received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Drawing from Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she currently resides.
