| Introduction | I have been birding intermittently since the age of 11. The spark was rekindled 5 years ago and I have been birding very actively since. I am very enthusiastic about my ABA list and would eventually like to see 800 sp. in the ABA area. I especially enjoy studying the complexities of the larger gulls.Thus the blog title- Larusology. I have been to most of the clssic gull study locations in the east including the Niagra River, St. John's, Newfoundland and Daytona Shores, Florida. I have seen all the breeding North American gulls except Ross's (and it is only a matter of time before this is corrected)and many of the strays. I still need to see a Kelp Gull. I am also avery keen photographer |
