Favorite Music Doo wop, nature sounds, classical, big band, swing, ragtime, early rock 'n roll.
Favorite Books Instructional art books (can you ever have enough?), Essays of E.B. White, biographies, The Country of the Pointed Firs, George MacDonald books, The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady, Philip Yancey books, Tasha Tudor books, the Peter Mayle Provence series, old and out of print books - especially old children's books and books illustrated during the Golden Age of Illustration, inspirational and educational books, cookbooks.
