| Introduction | Mrs. Filipović is artist and expert for classical, appliqué and experimental patchwork. She is working in patchwork domain since 2000, more intensively from 2008. Mrs Filipović has a lot of (still unpublished – but ready for publication) works: 30 original patchwork solutions and 10 original blocks, all prepared by vector graphic software. In June 2011 she had first individual independent exhibition of patchwork in Icarus Gallery in Zemun, Serbia. This exhibition was well accepted by public and experienced a full success. Mrs Filipović also participated in Europe wide patchwork exhibitions such as: Prague 2008 and 2009, Budapest 2009 and Belgrade 2011. As an experienced artist, Mrs. Filipović is currently investigating and successfully applying new trends in patchwork such as: 3D technique, combination of embroidery, patchwork and painting, etc… Furthermore, she is interested in implementation of patchwork in fashion and interior design. |
