| Introduction | Hello, I’m Patrice Farquharson, a professor in Post University’s Early Childhood Education program. I’m also Executive Director of the West Haven Child Development Center. My studies on early childhood education have taken me around the country and world, as I regularly present at industry conferences and meetings. I've presented at Oxford University’s Early Childhood Education Roundtable. I’ve also presented my work with Post University Adjunct Professors Gayle VanDilk and Patrick Adams to the National State Child Care Administrators’ meeting. I’m very proud to say my work has earned me a number of awards over the years, including the Professional Development Award from Connecticut Early Childhood Council, and being named in “Who’s Who in American Education." I have a doctorate degree in education from Nova Southeastern University, and master’s degree in early childhood education from Southern Connecticut State University. You can read more about my background on Post University’s website. You can read my blog posts here. |
