| Introduction | In his senior year of high school, Andrew Ashburn (b. 1993) interned with Dr. Alex Jimenez (Conductor of Orchestras, FSU) and received top honors at both District and State Music Performance Assessment, as Student Conductor of the Chiles Chamber Orchestra. In the Fall of 2011, he conducted sold-out performances of Rodgers and Hammerstein's "The Sound of Music" at the Monticello Opera House, in conjunction with M&M Productions. He is currently pursuing his BM in Violin Performance at the Florida State University College of Music, under the tutelage of Benjamin Sung. |
