Introduction | Fighting creeping decrepitude and chronic insomnia, living a back-to-basics lifestyle on the Kapiti Coast of New Zealand. Prone to unwise internet shopping at 3am after drinking too much wine. |
Interests | Art lover, wine lover, reading, gardening, eating, cooking (especially the things I grow myself), lying down, daydreaming and building castles in the air, films: especially classic Westerns |
Favorite Movies | What's eating Gilbert Grape, Life of Brian, Groundhog Day, Local hero, Princess Bride, The station agent, The outlaw Josie Wales, Sense & Sensibility, Lawrence of Arabia |
Favorite Music | Van Morrison, Dixie Chicks, Leonard Cohen, Little Feat (Lowell George era), Richard Thompson, Teddy Thompson, Tim Minchin, R.E.M., Ry Cooder, Neil Young, Johnny Clegg, and whatever I happen to be listening to. |
Favorite Books | A short walk in the Hindu Kush is my favourite travel book, I read a lot of crime fiction, Lee Child, Michael Connelly, Reginald Hill, Stuart Pawson, Peter Robinson, Marian Keyes, Alexander McCall Smith, Georgette Heyer. I'll read anything, if I don't have a book handy I get twitchy. Lately I've started reading romance and I am currently devouring Loretta Chase's Regencies. |
All of the phone numbers have fallen out of your address book. Whose number do you look for first and why?
My own - I'm absent minded.
