| Introduction | I'm a girl. Okay, well, I may be too old to be a girl but I don't think I'm ready to be called a woman yet. I did recently get called "Ma'am" at the drivethru, which probably doesn't bode well for my girl-hood. I'm a redhead. My hair has been turned several colors which are NOT red in my life thus far, and none of them suit me as well as the odd copper color I was born with. I am finally someone's wife. After what felt like two years of paperwork and worry, he's here and he's my husband. Now comes another round of paperwork, a wait, and then--citizenship! ...if he wants it, I guess. I'd be happy being married to a greencarded Brit forever. I'm a daughter, a granddaughter, a niece, and a cousin-- but I'm not a sister. This has always made me a bit sad. I get over it by being a mom to a brilliant pack of Golden Doodles. |
