| Introduction | I started writing songs as a teenager and since then my motto has been to positively motivate others through words and music. I earned a degree in Communications, Broadcast Journalism, from Brigham Young University. After working in and out of television news, law firms, and substitute teaching assignments, I landed my dream job as a mother. I continue to share my music and beliefs with others, locally and over the internet. Through my experiences in work and life itself, I am quite aware of the messages that women and girls are pelted with every day. I'm tired of feeling down or disgusted when read or see things in magazines, TV, movies or the internet. I want to counteract those negative messages and make a positive difference. I believe we are all daughters of Heavenly parents and that we ought to be reminded of it often. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, better known as LDS or Mormon.
