| Introduction | As an infant, Rojas was found in a basket floating down the Rio Grande and has since been heard saying “let my people go!” Rojas' name has appeared in such books and lists as The Yellow Pages, Yellow Book, The El Paso County List of Hot Check Writers and his writings have been published and graded by various elementary and high school teachers throughout the years. He was a runner-up in the Sept. 23 Powerball Lottery, where along with 350,000 other purchasers of lottery tickets, he almost won the coveted 56 Million Dollar Jackpot. Named a Jolly Good Fellow in 2009, he joined an exclusive roster of Chicano Writers chosen to attend the Anthony Robbins Workshop on Soldier Island in which his fellow fellows murdered each other one-by-one with Rojas being the sole survivor and now sole Jolly Good Fellow. In Jan. 2011, he was notified that he may be a winner of the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes. Perhaps his greatest honor came in 2010 when he was awarded the highest honor by his peers receiving the Nobel Prize for Blogging. Because he received this award while touring China, he has been incarcerated there ever since, only being allowed out to post to this blog. |
