Introduction | Married 24 years to a wonderful man who is a teacher and baseball coach. 4 kids, 3 boys and a princess...ahem I mean girl. We garden on a small city lot (1/4 acre) and our goal is to produce at least 50% of everything we consume. Despite concerns about global warming and just where this world is headed, we try to remain optimistic. We've put our future in the hands of a loving sovereign God and that will not change with the weather. BUT....I believe to my very soul that our God has entrusted us to cherish this earth and the resources we have. He expects us to use our intelligence in managing the land and taking responsibility for actions that will affect our children's future. Whether in choosing an efficient mode of transportation, combining trips to do errands, riding bikes, walking, eating seasonally and locally, turning down(off) the heat and air conditioning, recycling, etc....we must be good stewards of the planet He created for us to live on. Our goal is to take the best possible care of the gift we have been given. |

You've been invited to a fancy ball but the only thing you have to wear is an orange wooly jumper. What shoes do you wear?
Like they'll be looking at my shoes???
