Introduction I was a Certified Interior Designer, designing corporate and commercial facilities for the past 30 years. I retired after owning my own design firm for about 15 of those 30 years. While designing interiors I had many opportunities to examine luscious textiles in detail. The fabrics today are so incredible, using all kinds of materials, from plastics to metal, to achieve a look and function; while color application has reached new heights. Very inspiring stuff! Being the right brainer that I am, I thought, “I could do that. . .” So I turned Hand Weaver and continue to pursue my passion in textiles. The future always holds something wonderful, and that's where I'm heading.
Interests Handweaving, knitting, design, creating, drawing, pottery, wood-turning and carving, gardening, dogs, reading . . . I guess you could say that I pretty much like anything that uses the right side of my brain.
Favorite Music Listening to my husband play his guitar after a long day.
Favorite Books I listen to books on my iPhone while I weave. I am working my way through all of the mystery and suspense novels available in downloadable format at my county library. This way I get the Zen of weaving juxtaposed with the thrill of suspense and intrigue. Yin and yang!

You've successfully slain the dragon! How will you toast your marshmallows?

Actually there was no need to slay the dragon! It took some time and patience to earn his trust, some mending of wounds both physical and emotional, and some very special and rare fairy dust, but the dragon, who from this day forward is to be called Gull Hjerte (Golden Heart) is now a good friend and loyal protector. Smores dripping with chocolate are an everyday event!
