| Introduction | Vegetarians enjoy eating out as much as their carnivorous brethren, yet many times we are forced to cobble together a selection of side dishes to make a meal. As someone relatively new to the Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky area, I'm scoping out local restaurants for vegetarian options. Hopefully this blog will assist other vegetarians who are new to the area (or new to vegetarianism) and looking for vegetarian-friendly options when dining out. I count myself among the estimated 3% of the United States population that is vegetarian. I eliminated red meat from my diet in 1984 and over the next two years phased out poultry and seafood. I tried veganism but my love for Emmenthal got in the way. |
