Introduction I am a math instructor in an inner city high school. I am currently in my eleventh year of teaching. My motto is to teach students how to learn, unlearn and relearn. I believe you should use technology like air and that project-based learning is an excellent teaching strategy to deliver content and develop 21st century skills. Before teaching, I worked in the corporate world for over 10 years. Some of my experiences include being a reporter, salesman for classified advertising, account manager for an Internet start up, sales assistant for Sprint, account manager for AT&T, financial planner and freelance writer. In the summer of 2007, I had the idea to convert my classroom to a corporation. The students will be math consultants to individuals, families and organizations around the world. The purpose is to teach my students that all their core classes have real world applications. While learning Algebra I, the students solve real world problems in teams. The teams consist of three or four students with one student being a manager. Students are also SMEs (Subject Matter Experts).
