| Introduction | I am currently learning to be an outdoor photographer in Frankfort, Kentucky. In addition to my current profession I have managed a coffee house, played music, worked in outdoor advertising, done tech support, taught college, and designed sets and lighting for theatres throughout the northeast and Midwest; not necessarily in that order. In college I majored in Theatre Design, and I took a photography course so I could take my own portfolio shots. I more or less left it alone for years, until my wife and I took a Caribbean cruise, and we bought a small Fuji point and shoot to record our trip. I took a picture of some iced over trees that winter, and on a whim I sent it to a contest in Kentucky Living magazine, where it won third prize. From then on I was hooked. Now I spend many mornings sitting in the car on a back country road, sipping coffee in the dark and waiting for the sun to rise so I can start shooting. I am still learning this craft, and I hope to keep learning and producing for as long as I live. hsnk you for taking the time to visit my blog and website and I hope you enjoy my work. |
