Introduction Not much there. Nervous breakdown in 1999 left me in a chaos of MPD's and bereft of most of my past life, so I don't remember much--70's and eighties are mostly gone. The 90's were the ubersuck. Before that, well, the frequent nightmares I have of my childhood indicate that my brain doing a core dump may have been a good thing. I'm in ill-health and relatively poor, so to say this is the happiest I've been in my life is kind of sad. Thank the Gods for Trazadone, Prozac, buspirone, and all the other stuff I take---I practically rattle when I walk, but hey--it's all good now.
Interests scifi, fantasy, horror from the 1930's--1960's. Pulp magazines from the same era. Keeping in touch with friends all over the world via posting boards. My daughter Randi Linee's dual careers of educator and opera singer. Cooking---my jambalaya is doubleplusgood.
Favorite Movies The Thing (1951 & 1982), The Man Who Could Work Miracles (1937), In the Mouth of Madness (1994).
Favorite Music Les Miserables, Evita, La Boheme, The Baja Marimba Band, Mozart, Chopin.
Favorite Books The Humanoids, Darker Than You Think, the Fu Manchu novels of Sax Rohmer, the Sookie Stackhouse novels. Science fiction anthologies from the 1950's-1960's.

You have to dig a hole to China. Where do you start?

It depends. Where is the China buried?
